The Azalea-Dogwood Festival of Dothan, Alabama is a multi-event festival celebrating the springtime blooms of the Azalea and Dogwood trees in the city of Dothan. Feel free to browse this season’s Trail Week Activites. We hope that you will join us.
Miles of Messages
MARCH 11-17
In addition to our annual sponsor signs, we will be spreading good cheer throughout Dothan with upbeat two-word messages with our Miles of Messages Signs, which can be placed in front of a business or residence.

Spring Saturday Shopping

On the Saturday before the Trail, we want to encourage everyone to shop with locally owned merchants. Many will feature a discount or promotion. Since they are the backbone of our community, this is our way to give back to them. Participating stores can be easily spotted with a Big Bow on their door and sponsors will be recognized on our website, social media.
Big Bow Week
MARCH 11-17
Another visual reminder that will brighten Dothan, is to tie a big pink and green bow on a tree or hang on a door. Our signature hot pink is a color normally associated with girls and femininity. One purpose of our organization is to celebrate women and to encourage young women to be feminine and strong. The color green symbolizes nature. This is a time in Dothan that we celebrate the beautiful flowers and trees that are native to our area. Please join us in spreading more color throughout the streets of Dothan. It’s so uplifting to see pink and green everywhere!

Bikes On the Trail

This year, we are encouraging the cyclist enthusiast in the area to ride their bicycles on the opposite side of the street from the cars in the caravan. The streets will be blocked off in the usual manner.
